April is poetry month!
We will be reading and learning about all different types of poetry.
Our first poetry to try is a HAIKU they are a Japanese form of poetry that has 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second has 7, and the last line has 5.

grass is growing, birds fly high,
winter is over."
